We are located right on the waterfront road facing the bay between Redcliffe and Sandgate, we are located in the same shopping plaza as the Shell service station, fish and chip shop, bakery and veterinary surgery.

Leading Edge Sports opened in 1999, owned and operater by Peter and Dianne Clark. Sport on the Redcliffe Peninsula has always boomed, and they saw the need to create a sports store that catered for the needs of the growing peninsula population. Initially designed to serve the people of Redcliffe, Leading Edge Sports has grown to include a massive customer base of not only Redcliffe, but to much of the surrounding suburbs! Peter and his daughter Lisa are on hand all through the week to help you out with your instore and online enquiries!

Specialising in Softball and Baseball has meant feeling the demand to expand our market to all of QLD. We were having many of our customer from as far away as Rockhampton, Townsville and the Gold Coast car pooling together to make a day trip to Redcliffe to find the sporting products they were after! We hope now with the creation of our Online Store website, buying our products will be more convenient for you (however we’d still love you to pop into the store to say hi every now and then!!!)

Downey Park Store / Brisbane Softball Association Grounds
The store is located at the Brisbane Softball Association grounds, Downey Park - Green Tce HERSTON. We are located at the back of the grandstand and can be accessed from the side walkway between the grandstand and the batting sheds, or directly from the road.

The stores opening hours for the month of September are :
